Landed homes provide good value as they offer both privacy and exclusivity.  The landed home segment (including cluster homes) in Singapore has often been regarded as a property investment asset that can weather economic downturn and provide long-term capital appreciation due to its limited supply. 

To purchase landed properties such as bungalows, semi-detached, terrace and cluster houses, foreigners who are Permanent Residents need the prior approval of the Singapore Land Authority. Alternatively, foreigners who are keen to own a landed home should explore some of the townhouses or foreigner eligible “landed” units in condos for a similar living lifestyle.

Many cluster homes (strata-landed housing) in Singapore are modern, well designed homes in prime locations and offer condo-style facilities like swimming pool, gym and 24-hours security.
